Did you know that each year in the U.K 22 million pieces of furniture are discarded? A huge 670,000 tones of that goes directly to landfill.

More often than not this furniture is almost as good as new - just a chair with a wobbly leg, cosmetic damage to the paint work or simply the owners taste has changed. The convenience of tossing it hugely outweighs the environmentally friendly alternatives - and this cycle continues.

At trove we want to change this. Our aim is to save, repurpose, reclaim and recycle as much of this furniture as we can get our hands on to prevent its untimely end.

It's not just furniture either - raw materials are often incorrectly disposed of, or simply not wanted. We aim to use as much reclaimed and recycled material in all our projects - whether we are working for residential or commercial clients.​​

Just like fast fashion, fast furniture is the quick and affordable option for most - but it doesn't have to be this way.

We believe high quality, long lasting furniture should be an option for every home - and it shouldn't cost the Earth (literally).

More than 90% of goods sold by charities come from donations, and without this a lot of these important organisations would not be able to fund their amazing causes.

Community is a core value at trove, so we ensure we are continually supporting local charities with regular donations. We often pop in to see what they have for sale to see if we think we can give anything a new lease of life!
​
We also work with other local companies and source a lot of our raw materials from their waste stream - this helps them save costs on waste disposal and lets us get creative!
​
Our ultimate goal is to create a local community fund to enable us to even further support grass roots organisations.
